Terms of use
Last updated 10 October 2026
The short version: Skikort helps you choose and plan a ski trip. It’s free to use, the facts are our best effort but not a guarantee, and when you book through a partner, you’re booking with them.
Who we are
Skikort (skikort.com) is run by Kinetiq s.r.o., Vorařská 2386/1, 143 00 Praha 4 – Modřany, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 29882575, registered in the Commercial Register at the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 453892. Contact: hello@skikort.com. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Using Skikort
You can use Skikort for free, for your own trip planning. Please don’t copy the site’s content or data in bulk, scrape it automatically, or use it to build a competing service. Don’t try to break or overload the site.
The information is a guide
We put a lot of care into Skikort’s facts, and cite official sources where we can. Still, things change and mistakes happen. Treat what you see as a guide, and check what matters with the resort, airline or provider before you rely on it.
- Resort facts such as piste kilometres, altitudes, runs and lifts come from resorts and from OpenStreetMap, and can be out of date.
- Drive times are estimates for normal conditions. Winter roads, chains and traffic can make journeys much longer.
- Snow figures describe past winters. They are not a forecast or a promise of snow on your dates.
- Huts, restaurants and bars are mapped places, not reviews, and may have closed or changed.
- Safety: conditions in the mountains change quickly. Always follow the resort’s own information, piste closures and avalanche warnings. Emergency numbers we list come from official sources, but check them locally.
Booking with partners
Skikort doesn’t sell travel. Buttons such as “See SnowTrex holidays”, lessons, rental, transfers, flights and hotels take you to partners. When you book there, your contract is with that partner, on their terms and prices. They are responsible for the booking, payment and service. For example, SnowTrex is the tour operator for its ski holidays.
How we earn: some of these links are partner (affiliate) links. If you book through them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change which resorts or options we show: we only list partners that can actually book in that resort.
Paid features
Pocket Guides and Skikort Plus are not on sale yet. When they are, the price and what you get will be shown before you pay, and we’ll add the terms for purchases, refunds and cancellations here.
Content, data and credits
The site’s design, text and Pocket Guides belong to Skikort. Skikort is built on open data and the work of others:
- Pistes, lifts, huts and places: © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License
- Map style and labels: OpenFreeMap, built on OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap
- Satellite imagery: Esri World Imagery and its providers
- Terrain: Terrain Tiles on AWS Open Data (Mapzen, from public elevation sources)
- Photos: from Wikimedia Commons, each credited to its author with its licence where shown
Liability
We provide Skikort as it is and can’t promise it is always available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from relying on information on the site, or from bookings made with partners. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, and your rights as a consumer stay unaffected.
Changes and law
We may update these terms as Skikort grows; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Czech law. If you live in the EU or EEA, you also keep the protection of the consumer law where you live.
Consumer disputes: if you buy from us as a consumer and we can’t resolve a complaint together, you can turn to the out-of-court dispute resolution of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.gov.cz).
